DESCRIPTION

The Warehouse Shipping Associate is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring customers receive the correct products on time while maintaining safety and quality standards. This position also supports warehouse shipping and processing orders for trade show materials, and the position interacts with a variety of departments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Locate and pull parts from warehouse shelves based on paper pick tickets with 100% accuracy.
  • Securely wrap and pack parts to prevent damage during transit, choosing the most efficient box sizes to save on shipping costs.
  • Generate shipping labels (UPS, FedEx, XPO) and ensure all documentation (packing slips, customs forms, invoices) is included.
  • Notify management when stock levels are low or if items are damaged.
  • Keep your workstation clean and organized; follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of forklifts
  • Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and parts department to meet daily shipping goals
  • Other duties assigned by the supervisor

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous warehouse, picking, packing, or shipping experience a plus
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems or basic shipping software is a plus
  • Ability to read and understand pick lists and shipping labels
  • Basic math and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
