DESCRIPTION
Responsible for assisting dealers and end users with the day-to-day machine technical questions and problems on SENNEBOGEN machines both in-person and over the phone. The Factory Service Representative interfaces regularly with dealership staff and end-users. Utilize report template to document customer visit and findings as well as customer questionnaire on each visit.
RESPONSIBILTIES
- Technical Support: Serve as the go-to technical expert for machine issues, assisting dealers and customers in-person and over the phone with troubleshooting, repair, and technical questions (hydraulic, electrical, etc.).
- On-Site Consulting: Travel extensively (about 70% travel) to customer/dealer sites for machine assembly consultation and hands-on problem resolution when verbal guidance isn’t enough.
- Documentation: Meticulously document customer visits, machine assembly (with pictures), findings, and all communications using required templates (reports must be delivered within 5 business days).
- Brand Ambassador: Act as a professional representative of SENNEBOGEN, requiring a strong customer-centric attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Experience/Skills: Trained in heavy equipment repair, and proficient in reading/understanding hydraulic and electrical schematics.
- Travel: Nationwide travel is required (~70%), including long-distance and international travel. Flexibility for late-night/early-morning field visits is essential.
- Professionalism: Must demonstrate a professional, customer-centric attitude, high accountability, and excellent communication (both written and verbal) at all times.
- Soft Skills: Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills are critical for managing multiple tasks, projects, and the heavy travel schedule.
- Administrative: Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Logistics: Must have a passport and a clean driving record.
