DESCRIPTION

This position assists dealers with quote requests, part number lookup, orders, and other various inquiries. This position requires correspondence with dealers to ensure complete order fulfillment and satisfaction. Methods of communication include: phone, email, fax, and dealer portal website.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide pricing and availability to dealers through various communication methods
  • Process dealer orders and communicate expected delivery date
  • Assist dealers with returns, shipping issues, or discrepancies with parts
  • Provide technical information regarding part inquiries to dealers
  • Communicate and work effectively with all vendors
  • Maintain a high level of customer service internally and externally
  • Work with Parts team to make the department more profitable
  • Read catalogs, software programs, and other sources as needed to determine the dealer’s part number needs
  • Process internal and external dealer orders
  • Maintain records of all correspondence with dealers
  • Remain current on product and industry changes through reading and training
  • Prepare invoices or charge authorization as appropriate
  • Assist in annual inventory, excess inventory returns, properly identifying and cataloging returns
  • Demonstrate willingness to be flexible in scheduling
  • Perform other duties as required by management
  • Work through daily responsibilities and tasks in a professional and accurate manner
  • Answer questions from dealers and internal customers
  • Physical requirements for this position include, but are not limited to scaling, climbing, lifting 50 pounds, and bending

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong customer service skills and focus
  • Excellent verbal, written, and documentation skills
  • General product and mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment parts
  • Ability to learn and retain specific information in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work within a team structure
  • Problem-solving and resourcefulness
  • Strong data and entry skills including use of Microsoft excel, Work and PowerPoint
